This device supports dual protocols, providing compatibility with Thread* and Zigbee**. This enables it to meet different needs and a wider user base. Zigbee mode can unlock the unique features of the Aqara ecosystem, while Thread mode enables seamless integration with third-party ecosystems. *To use this device with a specific Matter ecosystem, a Matter Controller and Thread Border Router from that ecosystem are required. ** To be compatible with Aqara Home in Zigbee mode, an Aqara gateway device is required.
No. The device defaults to Thread protocol. If you want to use Zigbee protocol, you need to turn on/off the light 5 times to reset the device. When you reconnect to the network, you can switch to Zigbee protocol according to the instructions on the App network page. The protocol switching process may take several minutes to load. Please note that protocol switching is equivalent to "restoring factory settings", and all configuration items in the previous protocol will be deleted.
This device supports joining up to 5 ecosystems at the same time.
When the bulb is not connected to the network, it can still be used as a normal bulb, but if you want to use app control, smart connection or other functions, you must first connect the bulb to the network.
Please do not install the Aqara LED bulb in a lamp with a knob dimmer switch to avoid damage.
Use the physical switch to turn the bulb on and off 5 times in a row. When the bulb flashes twice quickly and then stays on, it means the bulb has been successfully reset.
Use the physical switch to turn the bulb on and off 10 times in a row. When the bulb flashes twice quickly and then stays on, it means the bulb has been successfully restored to factory settings. Please note that restoring the factory settings will clear all configuration items and related records.
It does not have a waterproof function and can only be used in dry indoor environments.
